1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Cyneu (operated by EchoMatrix Solutions, registered in India), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable Indian laws and regulations. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
2. Authorized Use & Scope
Users are strictly permitted to conduct offensive security exercises only within lab environments provisioned to their own dedicated session. Any unauthorized access to external systems, other student environments, or underlying infrastructure using Cyneu's VPN tunnel constitutes a violation of the Information Technology Act, 2000 (India) and applicable amendments, and may result in immediate termination and legal referral.
3. Data Collection & Telemetry
Cyneu collects session telemetry, clipboard activity, and tool usage patterns within active lab environments to generate faculty integrity reports. By using the platform, you acknowledge and consent to this collection as described under the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.
4. Institutional Responsibility
Institutions licensing Cyneu are responsible for ensuring that student access is granted only to authorized and enrolled individuals. The institution acts as the primary data fiduciary for its students' usage data under applicable Indian data protection frameworks.
5. Session Expiry & Environment Lifecycle
Lab pods and exam environments are ephemeral. Once the provisioned session duration expires, environments are terminated and unrecoverable. Users are responsible for saving progress or flags before session expiry.
6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
